After a long time lurking I thought I’d say Hi! I’m in the UK and have tremendous fun with Zeiss box cameras, a beaten up Rolleicord, and my Contax iia. Currently I’m experimenting with using non toxic alternatives to gum bichromate and gum oil using casein, gelatine and ammonium ferric citrate. The info here has been so helpful I’d just like to thanks.
That's cool. I've been doing some experiments with ferric carbon (carbon transfer using FAC) lately. You're probably aware of this thread: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threa...calvin-grier-to-replace-gum-bichromate.196289
If not, check it out. If you are familiar with it - still check it out and feel free to add your experiences!!

Thank you. I’m fascinated by the bichromate process but terrified of the toxicity and the staining issues with diazo are problematic. I’ve been trying to get results in a less scary way and this is so useful.
Hi ! Fascinating process. Congrats on putting that much work on creating images. I've discovered the bichromate process with french photographer Enzo Lucia.
Looking forward to see how you manager things with the non-toxic alternatives
