After a long while of seeing the DSLR photography of people I know, I've decided to take my old SR-T 101 out of retirement and re-learn photography. Currently, I'm only shooting a few rolls of Kodak GC200 to make sure the camera hasn't ended up with any problems while in storage, and to see how I might have to adjust my exposures (due to replacement battery having slightly higher voltage than the original type intended) so there's not much in the way of actual photography to share. But, hello!
Of course the Evergreen State!!! The other Washington is a mere city on the east coast. Just happens to be an interesting city... and one that drives much what happens in the rest of the country. Be that as it may.
We in the Evergreen State feel vaguely slighted whenever someone tacks " state" on to our fine State name. "Washington State" is a university in Pullman. I am a proud University of Washington Husky.
Welcome from another Washingtonian... Take that SRT-101 up to Northwest Camera Repair and let Scott go through it. He'll replace the light seals, mirror cushion, add a shottkey diode to the meter circuit so it'll happily use the PX625A batteries, and adjust the shutter balance, etc...
