Hi all,

I've recently been finding a lot of discussions that have helped me getting back into film on this forum, so figured it was time to join and participate.

I shot film for many years before going digital back in 2008 or so. Digital has been fun, but I've never felt connected to my digital cameras like I do with my old manual film cameras. A few months back I found my film stash when cleaning out the freezer and have been shooting some 35mm.

I recently got my hands on some Bronica gear at some prices I couldn't pass up so have a ETR, SQ A and SQ AM. So I figured it was time to join the forums and get in on the discussions.

I'll be shooting with a hybrid workflow as I'll be scanning due to space constraints not allowing me to set up a darkroom.

Nice to be here and hopefully I'll be able to both gain some knowledge as well as share some.

Hello T.J. and welcome to Photrio site. Glad to see you've found your way back to some film usage........

Thanks, it really does feel good to be shooting some film. While digital is great, and I'm not going to get rid of it, you don't get the anticipation of film while it's away being processed (Or waiting for you to process it) and the cameras for the most part lack the tactile feel that I love in the fully manual cameras (Though my Fuji digitals do get close).

Welcome from the Philadelphia area -- always good to see another Bronica owner! I've spent some enjoyable time in parts of NY state over the years.

I find myself in NW PA quite a bit, usually the Allegheny / Kinzua Bridge area. A good Fall in that area is amazing with the colors!

We just got home from Mt Jewett and the viaduct, cold and windy up there today.

Welcome. I lived in Buffalo (Elmwood strip area) between 1989 and 1995. Mixed emotions on that place.
