Hello eveyone! I've been directed to APUG by my photography instructor, and I like what I see so far. I'm interested in learning everything I can about traditional methods of shooting and printing. I hope (and suspect) that this place will be a great asset to me, and I also hope to share any tiny bit of knowledge I have.
Hello from another frozen spot in Canada, -18 celsius actually, with wind factor, it is -35, the good side: It is not necessary to put the films in the fridge. I wish you as much fun here as I have...
Welcome from the balmy, south-west corner of British Columbia, Canada.
I predict that you will have fun here.
Matt
PS if anyone would like to send some cold weather, we could use some in a couple of places. We have this thing called the Winter Olympics coming up in two weeks or so, and in a couple of locations we are having to truck snow!
You new Michiganders really have to check out (there was a url link here which no longer exists), held every June up near Harbor Springs... Hosted by our very own Bill Schwab and assorted guests. This has grown to be quite an event. It is a tremendous opportunity to meet with other analog photographers and printers. It is such an inspiration to see the talent that exists in this neck of the woods.
