Hi, I'm a mechanical designer living in Washington. I started photography when I was a kid with a hand-me-down Kodak Brownie six-16. I rigged up a contact printer using a lamp socket placed inside a dresser drawer and a sheet of glass. When I turned 13 my dad bought me a Pentax K1000 and that really got things started. Nowadays, shooting digital but last year I decided to go back into film photography. I'm finding myself re-learning a lot of things and also learning the more complicated things I never learned when I was a kid. So, though I've been photographing for decades I'm still a beginner in many ways, especially in the darkroom. I'm hoping to get feedback on this board from the more experienced and some good direction to help me improve in my photography. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
