Hi, I joined APUG and this is my first post.
I found APUG by accident while searching the web and it felt like a buble of fresh air !
I love film photography, whether looking at photographs, or taking photographs, or reading about photography. I am keen and have a huge passion ... and yet, a mediocre photographer.
I use a medium format camera Bronica ETRSi which I like because it is versatile and I can still carry it. I use it like a big SLR.
I have a couple of Canon A1, which I don't use so often because after stepping up to MF, it is difficult to go back to 35mm really.
Once I am more experienced, I would love to set up to even larger formats. Also I use a scanner Epson V700.
I stepped for the first time into a darkroom last year or so (doing colour & BW process), I have not had a chance to practise since then but I am reading very useful information on APUG's forums and I really want to go back to doing more darkroom process.
I am planning to register to a course at St Martins about Alternative photographic processes.
Sorry for this lengthy introduction, but to conclude I'd like to say that I am based in London (this said I am French) and I'd love to meet other film photographers. So please if you are based in London let me know.
