Hi

I'm Luke and I'm pleased to have found this site, I am a traditional based photographer who uses mainly Ilford HP5 with a Nikon F3, I also use a Hasselblad for work and shoot on Fuji transparency, I've been doing photography for about 17 years and am resiting the Digital surge as much as is possible these days.

My photography is mainly reportage work, although in my role as photographer for Aardman Animations i have to do quite a bit of studio work as well.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks

Luke

Hi Luke, and welcome.

Glad you found APUG. This site has been a treasure trove of information and ideas for me and I hope you find it as useful and inspiring as I have. It is so refreshing to discuss photo related topics without the D word continually cropping up !!

Best wishes and once again welcome. John.

Dear Luke,

Bristol isn't the south-west -- it's the frozen north. Four miles from my home village in Cornwall there's a sign that says 'To Plymouth, The North and East'.

Welcome nevertheless; I lived in Bristol from '73 to '87 and still have many friends there.

Virtute et Industria(l)!

Hi Luke, welcome from the North West. It looks like a nice job at Aardman. "More cheese Gromit?"

Hello Luke,

Welcome from the Deep South West - West Cornwall. A fine place for a 'Grand Day Out', provided you don't wear 'The Wrong Trousers'. Does Wallace know you've started moonlighting at APUG?

Again welcome.

Regards Daniel

Hi Luke, welcome.

I'm also a Wallace and Gromit fan - am I right in thinking the pics were taken with a hassie ? Nice thought
