Hi!

I have been shooting film for 3 years, ever since taking an analog photography class in high school. And with my great grandfather having been very into photography as well, I have some pretty nice inherited gear!

I love shooting with my AT-1, with its f1.8 nifty fifty, and a 100-300mm f5.6 super tele. I recently got a teleconverter, so I’m looking forward to the next full moon!

I also have an RB67 with a 127mm f3.8. With the prism and motor drive back, it is definitely a chonker, but it was a purchase I am super happy with. Though if I had known that my great grandpa had a Rolleiflex, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it, lol.

Stocks I like to shoot are Vision3 films in 35mm (and eventually, hopefully, 220!) and Aviphot 200 in 220. Waiting on an IR filter to shoot the Aviphot in IR.

From what I’ve seen, this place looks like a very cool community! Not sure how I just found out about it last week.

Welcome to the FORUM. There sure are lots of things to photograph in the ROCKIES.

As to the RB67, I used one for years, and it beats the ROLLEIFLEX simply because of the lenses it offers AND a much larger negative (which you don't have to crop as much to get to 8x10, 11x14, etc. -- and RB gear is usually very inexpensive nowadays. There's still lots of 120 film out there.

Welcome! I teach high school photography up here in Canada, left of the Rockies... Always fun to see young generation get interested into film photography! I have several medium format cameras, but I tend to use the RB67 mostly. LF is my main way to make images, though!
Enjoy the forum! Lots of knowledgeable people here!
