Hi All. I'm Jeremy from the Chicago suburbs.

I started shooting seriously in the early 90s on film. I went digital at some point and slowed way down; found it not as much fun for some reason.

I just got back into film photography recently, and now my girlfriend is into it too!

Welcome aboard from another Chicagoan living down in Fla now. I was a far west side guy
living in Dupage county; Lombard, Carol Stream, West Chicago.
I like your B&W stuff, especially the buildings. Best.

I lived in Bartlett in the mid-90s, when I was going to school at DeVry in Addison, so I'm pretty familiar with the west suburbs. How do you cope with the summer heat down there? I hear it's intense...

I grew up in the south suburb of Homewood. (183rd south)

Now, I live in the NW suburbs and work in SE WI. (Kenosha) I'm looking to move to WI in the next couple years.

Yeah it gets hot and the humidity will get you to but you get use to it; Just stay indoors till the sun goes down some.
I’m headed to the Georgia mountains soon so I’ll have to get use to not only heat, humidity but cold as well. Still the mountains are great compared to the flatlands of Fl.

I lived in Bartlett in the 80s, 90s, and 00s! In northern Ca. now. Good to hear from someone who knows the old stompin' grounds. Sure miss the area at times... especially the food! They don't know how to make pizza out here and you WILL NOT find a good hotdog and fries ANYWHERE! (Thoughts are of Nana's in Streamwood ) Gyros are very, very scarce, too, but I found one good place!... one good deep dish pizza place, too. Of course it would be named... Chicago Fire! ... and the owner gets his ingredients from.... ???? ..... Chicago! Oh, and don't ask for an Italian Beef out here. They have no idea what that is. I make my own. Lol.
