Hi!

New here, obviously... I got my first camera when I was 8 or so, a little point and shoot with a rotating flash cube on too that you could use 4 times and then had to replace. Can't remember the brand. I bought my first SLR in the late 90's and went digital with the release of the Nikon D50, went from there to D300 and sold that to buy an Olympus m43 when our son was born as the D300 became too bulky to haul around together with all the baby stuff.

I've been using Fujifilm for the past 2 years and my current camera is a X-H1.

I've had a hiatus for a few years and onlyvtook photos during vacations etc. but am back into it now. I've even been shooting a bit of film lately, using my Nikon F2 and pre war Rolleiflex. I have a Nikon F2a on the way over from the states, it was cheap so we'll see what condition it's in, they are becoming expensive over here. If it turns out to be a good one I might sell the F2 and the non Ai lenses in favor of some Ai glass.

I develop the film in my kitchen and "scan" the negatives using my digital camera and a macro lens. I have dark room equipment but it's been stowed away for the past 13 years as space is a challenge. Right now I'm trying to work out the kinks in my development process and am slowly getting there.

I'm mostly interested in street- and documentary photography but am bad at both, working onbthose too.

Cheers!

Welcome to Photrio, or perhaps I should say Välkommen, there are a few Swedes here. Let's hope that you'll get your dark room set up.

Welcome to a site filled with smart, helpful and wonderful people.

I am sure you are aware of a Sweden made camera, there's several of them laying on the surface of the moon . This is a fun site. I started with a Kodak Instamatic with the "Flashcube" mine had a hand wind, spring powered advance.
Best Regards Mike

Thanks!

Yeah, I had a chance at buying one of those for next to nothing many years ago, when analog cameras were at an all time low. The guy I bought my dark room equipment from wanted to sell his but I turned him down. I kind of kick myself now :D
