Hello guys,

I have posted a few times already, but I did not introduced myself before. I thought this would be a good idea. I'm 22 and presently studying mechanical engineering. I started doing film photography 2 years ago. The first year I developed my films (35mm B&W shot using a Pentax K1000) and scanned them. Since last summer, I enlarge them in my bathroom and I'm really proud of some prints.

Without this forum this would have been a lot harder. There so much information on this forum and a lot of people always there to give a few tips.

In the next few days, I'll probably create a thread about film processors, since a few classmates and I chose to build a film processor for our final project (we will be working on this for next 2 years). Could you tell me what is the best section to create this thread? Darkroom Equipment?

Thanks guys,
Alex.

Hi Alex.

Welcome from the other end of the country.

What sort of film will the processor be intended for? The Darkroom Equipment forum should be good.

It will depend on what the market wants, but probably 35mm, 120 and 4x5. In B&W, C41 and E6.

More to come in an appropriate thread.
