Cant say for the whole Russia, but in St Petersburg one can freely buy Kodak/Ilford/Fuji/Foma/Adox film in different sizes at at least three retail shops I know. Those also provide chemistry and developing services, including E6, so no limit at all, except for the paper (but we have more Slavich here).
Prices do feel higher than if I lived in Europe, but I purchase all the film and chemistry via two well known online stores in Germany, so should be saving much on it.
When I come for next visit, would you care to show me these shops? On last two visits we've tried to find Slavich paper but have been unable to find any, which is odd.

LOL #2, the city of Leningrad was "renamed" to its old name Saint Petersburg at 12 Jun 1991 by a referendum,

That's a sort of Joke what Flavio made with him,

Thanks Renato!!

Are you in Lima right now?

What moved me to start to read APUG more often is lack of "happiness" on russian speaking related forums. Although there are many experienced people over there, more often they are too "pessimistic" and this somehow influence my mood which I don't like.

We also have the english-speaking version of those people here, in this forum!!

I'm often called pessimistic here. By people not knowing my part in the survival of analogue photography.

But I cannot deny things I encounter. There are several truths. But some members here have a certain view and reject anything that does not fit their view.

For exactly the same reason I do not participate in Finnish photography forums.

I understand that point of view very closely, I myself had the misfortune to suffer that kind of pessimistic behaviour (and others) in person where I live. I have had a very short experience in only one of these kind of forums (in fact APUG is my second forum ever), but to make a long story short in Spain there's also those kind of pessimistic people moving around ... people trained to cause damage with a simple keyboard. It's very important to keep distances, free space enough to stay away from pain, but at the same time so that our work and our huge passion do not lose personality, strength or hope at no time in any way. So in the end, the best way could be explained with this example:

So, I think that the same could apply to the Spanish version

Best of luck to all of you!

True! but somehow that also happens when dealing with people in the real life, obviously with the clear distinction and the full advantage of being able to put a personality close to you, with their own human faces and their feelings ... and without so much audience to be concerned about!

I´ve seen a lot of great film photography from Russia during the last years, but we do not have many Russians here, unfortunately. So Welcome to Apug, great to have you with us!

Thank you all for the warm regards!

This Dead Link Removed offers some Slavich, however, I am not sure about current availability as seldom visit them.

OMG!!! I couldn't take it in at first, but looking at the prices at the shop you linked iakustov, Ilford is about ten times the price, like for like, when compared with your more local brand. I'm surprised that they sell any Ilford with that price difference...

Oh, I did not notice, but if you click on it for details it says it is expired in 2008. And this is RC vs WT FB from Ilford. Hence the difference...
