I've been using Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II (digital) cameras for years. I just purchased an OM-1 Mark II (digital camera) and its functions and menus seem quite different. I bought a book on Amazon -- "OM System OM-1 Mark II" by Tony Phillips in hopes that it would have a good index to speed up my learning process. Turns out the book's index has inaccurate page numbers (for instance, when looking for the Noise Filter settings, the index's the page number takes you to the Metering Menu page). Not real helpful. I am hoping this forum will provide a place where I can learn more about the non-obvious aspects of the OM-1's menus and functions.

Welcome to Photrio.
I expect you are asking about the latest iteration of Olympus OM digital cameras, which have been very confusingly badged with almost exactly the same names as the venerable Olympus OM film cameras, such as the OM-1, OM-1 MD and OM-1n - the ones made by the Olympus Optical company. That was the company that made your OM-D EM-1. Your new camera is made by a new corporate entity that took over the Olympus camera business.
A lot of the people on this site - myself included - have had years of experience with the film ones. Some also have some experience with the OM-D digital line - myself included as well.
I've taken the liberty of editing your post slightly to help avoid confusion about the camera you are asking about.

Thank you for the clarification. I was confused by that too.
