Hello from Osaka

Try not to worry about it; this is a bit like a playground and some of kids are pretty wild (and sometimes even a little nasty). We bump into the walls and each other all the time, but as long as you operate within the forum rules (and you've not even come close to violating those!), pretty much anything goes. That also means that if people are critical of things you say, or sound a little angry - try to see that as their problem, not yours. If this happens, keep in mind that they're responding to an idea, not to you as a person. You're welcome here and your presence is highly appreciated.

I was overthinking it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Welcome and glad we have more contributors from japan!

I was working in the Osaka area on a project for two weeks 20 years ago, and we were traveling through japan last summer. Brought home 150 rolls of exposed film

Lovely country and people, we‘ll hopefully return soon.

So do you happen to know a photographer/cafe/exhibition space next to Tenmangujinja?

Is that so? You came to Japan last year too!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Mount...in Kitahama? Really? If so, it's less than half a mile from my darkroom/office!
I'll be there sometime soon.
Yes! It has a lovely view of the Tosahori river. I've known Nanae since she was about 8 years old (in Omuta, Kyushu). Wonderful person.

Unfortunately, Ms.Nanae was traveling and I couldn't meet her, but the cake and coffee were just to my liking.
