Hello from North East England

Hi, I'm George, I am well beyond retirement age and have taken photographs since 1964.

I collect cameras, and use most of them at least once a year each, but my favourites get a lot more use.
I have digital cameras - Nikons and Fuji x-Mount rangefinder style; film cameras from 35mm folders, rangefinders, P&S, SLRs etc; and Medium Format - Bronica S2A, Bronica EC, Mamiya C3, Yashicamat, Mamiya 645 1000s, and an Agfa Isolette folder.

There will be much on these forums which will attract my attention and I look forward to getting stuck in to them.

Coincidently I was just discussing the Grove Rake mine on another forum. I worked at the the Princess Mary Maternity Hospital in Newcastle in the early 70's, but Alston is a way off from there.

Also from the NE, in Co Durham and also well beyond normal retirement age but Hey-Ho more time to do what we want. Grove Rake Mine and Alston both are well known to me. It will be just about warm enough now after winter to visit again. Been using a camera of one sort or another since 1962 both for fun and a good part of my working life.
