Hi, My name is Jerry. I've been in photography since junior high. I've shooy mostly B&W and medium format although I also shoot some color and 35mm and 4x5.
I was introduced to APUG by Bill Schwab a while back and have been checking it out for a while and finally decided subscribe. I've enjoyed looking at the galleries and reading the forums. I'm glad to see there are alot of members from this area.

Welcome from the other end of the states here in Alabama. APUG is a great place where you can really get the "world view" on photography. We have a great group of photographers from just about every part of the world. Make yourself at home!

Welcome Jerry. I was born in Livonia, and lived there until I was 6 (went to Roosevelt Elementary ), bought my wife's wedding ring at the Jewelry Factory.

I even worked at Wonderland as teenager.

How's that for too much useless information?

I was born in Detroit and live there 12 years, moved to Southfield and came to NY when I was 18. Been here ever since.

Darr, Thanks. Livonia is in southeast Michigan. I haven't been to Manistique yet but I'm sure it's at least a six hour drive from hear.

Here's some of my own useless informatiom. I went to Cass Elementary, grades 4-6, Dickinson J.H., grades 7-9 and this my third time living in Livonia.

Hey Jerry! I grew up in Cross Village and have somehow ended up in Los Angeles for the time being. I hope we'll meet up sometime when i return.
I hope you've got room for more cameras and such. This place is trouble.

Robert, thanks. I'm looking forward to showing my work soon. However I'm a beginner with scanning so I'll put some up when get some good scans.

I've never been to Cross Village. I'm hoping to get up that way pretty soon with a group going up with Bill Schwab. I'm sure we'll meet up sometime.
I know what you mean about purchasing used gear.

I too, live in Livonia. I'm a photographer for the Observer & Eccentric newspaper chain and teach a class or two at Madonna University. In fact, Bill Scwab was kind enough to show his work and do a printing demo for one of my photo 2 classes.
