Hello from Indiana

Greetings

I am a 25 year old graphic designer from Indianapolis, Indiana. I started traditional b/w photography in highschool and really loved, also studied it a bit in college (Herron School of Art and Design) until I found the design program. I've now been out of college a few years, working and falling in love with traditional film again. My spirit was re-kindled after discovering a really nice Rolleiflex Automat MX at a flea market for a great price. I'd only experienced 35mm and digital previously, and seeing the quality of the negs and slides really blew me away and I instantly became hooked. I found APUG at roughly the same time. I ended up purchasing used darkroom equipment and converting my spare bathroom mere days after getting the rollei.

Thanks to this forum, I'm re-discovering my love for photography.

Hi and welcome, from another Indy APUGer. Watching an image rise from the paper in the developer tray is truly magical and thrilling, isn't it? I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have- there is no shortage of information here and plenty of generous folks who share their knowledge freely.
