Hi everyone,

My name is Miles, and I’m a danish photographer who recently finished my studies in photojournalism.

My work sits somewhere between documentary, artistic, and anthropological photography, with a focus on long-term projects and spending time with the people and places I photograph.

I work across a range of mediums, from digital to wet plate collodion - but I’m especially fond of black and white large format photography and slower ways of working.

Looking forward to being part of the community and learning from all of you.

If you’re curious, you can see some of my work here:

Thank you!

Welcome. I like all your photos, but particularly the wet plate portraits. They're very distinctive. One of a kind, which makes them more valuable, especially to the person who's in it. If I wanted you to take my portrait. I would like a wet plate done. I think from a commercial standpoint, you might be able to sell more than standard digital or chemical photographic prints. Have you thought about how you're going to commercialize your work?

Welcome, Miles.

Thank you very much! That's the question I'm constantly asking myself these days - and I still don't have the answer. All I know is it's all about balancing my work, so I can keep my love for photography alive.

Hej!
Hvor i Danmark? Min kone er født i Gentofte. Hun døde i juni sidste år i en alder af 58 år. Hun fik leukæmi i september 2024.

Jeg kan kun en smule Dansk, så noget af dette er Google Translate.
