Greetings!
My name is Jacob. I used to be a semi-active member on APUG back in the mid 2000's. A bunch of "life happens" happened (but mostly good stuff!) and I put my cameras down for a long time. A couple of years ago, I picked up a Nikon FM, dusted off my old Mamiyas, and restarted film photography and B&W film processing. Around that time, I had an admin change my username (I was previously known as Erickson) and have been lurking here since then. Anyway, I thought I should introduce myself before I started posting out of the blue.
I'm a New Mexican (Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho) that relocated to Colorado (Aurora) about ten years ago. I don't have a functioning darkroom right now. But I do still have all my printing gear and plan to get back into printing this year. I'm completely film based and appreciate all film related things from Ilford, Mamiya, Nikon, and Pentax. I work in IT (UNIX sysadmin and security engineer) and am a husband and father, musician (drums, bass, keys), and geek (astronomy and retro computing).
Anyway, hello again!
