Hello from Brooklyn

In the past year or so, I've been getting back into photography after not doing much with it for many years. I did a lot when I was a kid, but not so much after finishing school. I learned to process film when I was seven, but haven't been in a lab for twenty years. So last year my wife gave me a new digital camera, a Fuji F10, which I've been having a lot of fun with, but it made me sort of homesick for my old Nikon F, so now that's come out of the closet. And now I've discovered that thanks to the digital revolution, old Nikon lenses can be purchased relatively inexpensively, and I've even been toying with the idea of getting an old medium-format TLR to play with.

APUG has a Brooklyn contingent. I'm in Manhattan now, but I lived in Carroll Gardens for about three years. Eventually we'll have to have that Brooklyn APUG get-together we keep talking about.
