Hey all, I've looked at this site from time to time, only a little bit. Haven't really gotten a feel for the paradigm yet, but I figure the best way to do that is join up and start spending a bit of time here, to see what it's all about.
I am a professional photographer, mostly portraits, and have been at my studio location for about 6 years. I had never touched a roll of film in my life until very late last year, but now my dSLRs basically gather dust unless I have a job. Shooting with film has, in only a few short months, really opened my eyes to a lot of things, and I can see immense benefits to my craft and creativity on the horizon. I am having inconceivable amounts of fun dabbling and learning. I've bought a bunch of cheap cameras over the past few months: Nikon F100, Pentax ME Super, Pentax MX, and a Bronica SQ-Ai. I've shot maybe 30 rolls of film in all and just began doing my own B/W development a couple of weeks ago.
So, hi, hello, nice to be here, and I look forward to getting to know some of you, and learning new stuff.
