Hello everybody,
My name is Tunku Fawzy. As an aside, Malay names are patronymic, that is I have no surname as such. I am generally referred to as Tunku or as Fawzy, both work, and I am retired after being put to pasture.
I shoot different formats:
135 Format
120 Format
and of course digital (when I feel it is necessary or when I feel like it)
I have the following cameras:
Nikon FE, F2AS, F5, and a D850 - with a whole collection of different AI, AI-S, ED lenses.
I also have a Hasselblad 500c, with a 80mm and a 150mm lens.
Types of emulsion: both black and white, and colour.
I process my own emulsion and currently use CineStill Df96 and CineStill CS41, and scan my images using the Epson V600 / Silverfast 8. I have tried using the DSLR to capture the negative images with mixed results. I will be going back to ID 11 at some point as that is easily available in SE Asia.
As part of my workflow, I use Luminar AI and Luminar Neo.
So far, I have had challenges with uneven development, bromide drag, surges and a long list of other issues, but that is where the fun is.
I look forward to listening (reading) to the stories and experiences and obviously to pick up useful tips and ask questions, and contribute where I can.
Best regards
Fawzy
