Great title, I know.
Hey guys, I'm Geoffrey from Berne, Switzerland.
I've been reading things on this forum from time to time and thought it was time to create an account.
I shoot digital (sorry!
) solely with vintage lenses. This started because I was bored with the kitlens I had but did not have any cash for something contemporary.. So yeah, that started and I developed quite a passion for old lenses.
I do, when my wallet permits shoot film, usually b/w 120, as I don't have a 35mm development reel and getting it developed and scanned costs a fortune, on my Agfa Isolette III or my greatgrandfathers Zeiss Maximar 207/3 with a rollfilmback.
I do also own a Nikon F2 which is a joy to use.
All in all I enjoy shooting film a lot since I seem to manage to get more keepers than on digital, possibly because you have to put a bit more thought into what you are really spending cash on.
