Hey guys, I'm Geoffrey from Berne, Switzerland.
I've been reading things on this forum from time to time and thought it was time to create an account.
I shoot digital (sorry!) solely with vintage lenses. This started because I was bored with the kitlens I had but did not have any cash for something contemporary.. So yeah, that started and I developed quite a passion for old lenses.
I do, when my wallet permits shoot film, usually b/w 120, as I don't have a 35mm development reel and getting it developed and scanned costs a fortune, on my Agfa Isolette III or my greatgrandfathers Zeiss Maximar 207/3 with a rollfilmback.
I do also own a Nikon F2 which is a joy to use.
All in all I enjoy shooting film a lot since I seem to manage to get more keepers than on digital, possibly because you have to put a bit more thought into what you are really spending cash on.
Hello, welcome to APUG, lots of good people here.
D can be a dirty word here, I have learned to keep these discussions here on film, and my posted images too, although, it take film or print scans to post.
So enjoy your time here, as I do

I thought as much and wouldn't throw around digital photos, well I just did, but I'm not going to take a picture of a screw on film to ask about it on a forum .
But I'm honest and wanted to 'come clean' from the start.
I'll solely use this forum for my analogue escapades and repair questions.
I started with vintage lenses too, because I was poor and couldn't afford better than the 18-55mm kit. I bought a few 35mm cameras for their lenses and, a few years later, ended up using these cameras.
