As all kids grew up in '80s, I too started clicking with film cameras. But like many or all, I too was hypnotised by digital techniques in the '00s. Over the years, the complicated digital fatigue has set in what was costing more to my precious time and efforts which I could have otherwise spent after creativity. I found the limitations of new technology that can not extend itself beyond a certain stage regarding speed and convenience. Film is more lively and mesmerising to tell a story. Also I am keen to learn about different photographic processes. And APUG is a great place to stay and share! I have started a facebook group all about analogue photography plus celluloid, to talk about golden time tested oldies! https://www.facebook.com/groups/664683010284394/ ..Kindly be there to enrich it.

A site that rejects me when following that link in the OP.

Thus I do not know what Indr means when saying:

"a group all about analogue photography plus celluloid"

I'm puzzled by that celluloid thing.

Welcome Indr! Perhaps you make us wiser.

Ah, I remember the smell of fresh celluloid film and ping pong balls from childhood times when we couldn't care less about using film to take pictures. Instead we would cut film in little pieces and roll them inside aluminum foil, leaving a small opening at one end then hitting up the hell of them with matches... we would instantly have little rockets flying around, leaving behind a white thick long tail of smoke. Well this goes back to early '60 when celluloid was still used for film making.
