My friend bob suggested I check out this website and I figured it was a good idea to sign myself up. so here I am, my name is Tony and as of right now I have a ciroflex MF camera. currently in the mail is a Yashica FX-3 from ebay (I already have some lenses for Yashica/Contax mount so it made more than enough sense to pick up either a Yashica or Contax Body and well I'm broke and Yashica is much more affordable for my broke college self.

Other than that as soon as it arrives I plan on getting my Photography on. any suggestions people can make for what films I should try out are more than appreciated since I'm still learning the whole techincal aspect of it.

Welcome Tony, from Springfield, MA. My favorite film/dev combo is either HP5+ and PMK Pyro or FP4+ and PMK Pyro. But you will find as many suggestions as there are people here on APUG.

well I switch between B&W and color, I usually bring a couple rolls of each when I go out to shoot, as for developing I know how (thank you high school) but I don't have enough money or the space for my own darkroom. so I was actually about to look around the posts or start my own thread asking about public darkrooms I've heard they exist but I was just wondering if anybody knew of any in the Newburgh, NY area
