I've been here before, briefly but I made a few changes in my life and was missing this place.

I have joined with new login because I don't remember the old details...

Anyway I'm glad to be back. I'm based in The English Lake District and I am in the process of setting up a gallery and workshop facility for analogue photography. It will be at The Visitor Centre in Grizedale Forest, in the Lakes. I get the keys on 1st November, then there is some work to do but I hope to be open by the end of the month. Yes I take your point about the "ask" page, sounds a bit arrogant as though I have all the answers, which of course I don't. So, I've changed it to "Ask me anything about my work and processes".

Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll get more comments now.

No Steve, I did not find it arrogant at all!

I was surprised and found it great that you not just said something like "Ask about me and my photographs", but rather took the wider approach.


I understood it not the way that you really know anything (would people expect so?), but that you are not preoccupied with your own photographs and processes and eager to lead people into a world so many do not know anymore.
