I'm back. I haven't been here for about five years. I drifted away when a second job stole my time and creative energy then failed to drift back when I quit the second job. Then I got involved with other things...and with every passing month and year, my disused darkroom mocked me.

No more...the existential angst of not *making* anything got to be too much and yesterday I cleaned the darkroom. Tonight I will take inventory of usable chemistry, film and paper and assess what I need.

I feel SO rusty. I will be re-reading every conversation here that documents the process and methods I was pursuing when I let it slip.

Thanks, folks. New chemistry should arrive in the next day or two. First tasks will be running the minimum time to maximum black test for new paper and print developer, effective film speed tests for my films in Pyrocat MC and then normal development time tests for same. Then I'll get to re-teach myself how to split grade print with my RD Designs Stop Clock Pro.
