Helios 58 is Biogon or not ?

I read few words about Russian 58 mm Helios is a Zeiss Biogon. Is that correct and is Helios 50 mm , a Biogon also ?

Are these lenses are in production , I need K Mount.

Which lens have more traditional look and is there a online seller used cheap ?

Helios are available in M42 mount, so you could add an M42-K mount adapter.

You are referring to the Helios-44 in its many forms. As far as I know, it was only made in M39 and M42 screw thread mounts for Zenit SLRs, and is no longer in production. Used examples are plentiful and cheap, even if you might have to buy one with a Zenit body as a rear lens cap ;-) . Be aware that the early ones have pre-set diaphragm. You should be able to easily adapt M42 version to K-mount.

I had a new Zenit ET with Helios 58 and it was excellent. One day , I said this camera is for Russia and it must work at minus 25 celcius. I put it to deep freezer , and it was working like its Hawaii
It was 24 years ago and I shot some of my lifes best pictures with it. It had a excellent bokeh and ten colors , so soft and elegant. I will buy a zenit whatever it costs. But shutter curtain is silk and it leaks light where the most wear loaded. Yes after 6 Leica , I am returning to my first love.
