Does anyone know how to tell if I have a bottle of European or American HC110? There are references to both on dev web sites. I bought mine in England but it says Made in the USA on it!
Thanks

It says "Made in USA" on it and your question is ... what, again?

If it looks like this, and has the same numbers for the "To Make 7.6 liters ..." part of the label, it is the North American version:

Evidently there is a difference in dilutions between USA and Euro versions.

I've never seen the Euro version in the flesh, even when I lived in Sweden the version on the shelves was the US one (but it was in a square shaped bottle).

Note: In Europe, HC-110 is also sold in 500-mL bottles as a less concentrated syrup which you dilute 1:9 to make dilution B. If you are using that product (Kodak CAT 500 1466), follow the instructions for the European concentrate, not those for the syrup. Although the European type of HC-110 is sold in England, there does not seem to be an English data sheet for it. Full-strength syrup is also sold in Europe so make sure you know which one you have.

My bottle (bought from Silverprint) looks like the bottle in MattKing's post but the label is slightly different. It says "Fabriqué en France pour Eastman Kodak SA - Genève". The volume of the bottle is given as 500 ml.

Well, it's not as simple as some people think. Mine says Made in the USA but it has the CAT number 5010541. It says 1 Liter on the bottle too. Confused? I am. Thanks for trying to help one and all.

My bottle does say dilution B is 1+9, confirming that it is the European formulation. Worked very nicely with HP5, though I think I may have overcooked the negs a bit!

Which is for sure you have the USA concentrated version. I have the same. Dilution B = 1+31.

best regards,
