HC110 - odd?!

Hi All,

I've got an almost-full bottle of HC110 that I bought a couple of years ago. I have only used a bit of it, and it is still pretty yellow.

Before I used it today when I noticed an amount of white crystals / sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

The film itself was probably underexposed, which was my fault... but, could the presence of the crystals mean that the HC110 has also gone off? I have seen little or no mention of this anywhere!

Thoughts gratefully received!!

It's probably OK but why not do a test roll to be certain.

Trouble is that I did process a roll, hence the original question - the film was expired, but I have had success in other developers previously.

I've seen that Rodinal can acuqire crystals (some old R09 I have has this) but have never seen any mention of the same thing happening to HC110.

Might try again, but if it has to be thrown out, that's life!
