Any idea how much sodium sulfate or sucrose to add as a starting point for evaluation?

There are several formulas for tropical development of film where the ambient temperature causes short development times. Typically they use 40 to 50 g/l of anhydrous sodium sulfate added to the developer.

I have to admit I'd never start with much sugar added (to taste). Somewhere around Gerald's figure for sulfate would be a starter.
