For all those having that experience, I was curious about the timeline from your project's inception to the day your work was opened to the public at MoMA. Was it everything you expected? Did everything go as planned? Very interested in details, of course. Many thanks in advance.

I would suggest that images in the Museum of Modern Art does not apply to any photographer on this site, as we do not engage in fashion.

Congratulations
They don't make it easy to see the images on their site, a complete slide show would be better than having to zoom in on photos of the gallery walls, but they do look good on the walls.

You are part of the new photography 2023?

Correct. Perhaps you can please enlighten me?
Comparatively few fashion photographers have exhibited at MoMA. As a matter of fact, the first MoMA show devoted to fashion photography wasn't until 20 years ago and not even at the main museum in Manhattan.

No, not yet. I'm climbing the ladder. I want to set the bar and learn from others.

I understand that Mr. Adams exhibited 61 prints at MoMA in November '44. I can only imagine it was a boost in name recognition for him.

Step one, if wishing to play that game, is having your work pierce through into their world. Here's a road map of sorts:

List of worldwide museums of modern art:

It seems a bit arrogant to register a common acronym, we are "The" museum of modern art.....but the rest of the world is a bit use to that.
I see our national portrait gallery has a annual photographic photograph competition open to the general public (Australian citizens), those short listed have their picture go on a national tour of other galleries, they even pay you and it's free to submit. Probably wouldn't work in a large country with so many star struck wannabes.

I would never, not a single time, read MoMA as anything but the one in NYC. This goes into every pub there is as well. If anyone can show where a MoMA acronym is used and NOT relating to New York, I'll be intrigued to see it.

When it opened they were the only museum of modern art in the world. So yeah, they earned it.
