One of the lenses that came with my enlarger is a 360mm APO Ronar. The glass has no scratches and looks in great shape, however there is some dust inside the front elements. I'm sure it's not fungus or anything, it clearly looks like some sort of cloth fibers or something. A camera dealer in town knows a guy that specializes in taking lenses apart and cleaning them. I tried taking a lens apart once and it was almost a disaster so am not going there again. I assume this is a viable option to getting a new lens? I've never needed anything like this done so am not sure if it's a great solution or not? Seems like it would be...

I don't know about ronars but some lens just unscrew. Easy to clean and put back together. OTOH I've always been told to leave good enough alone. Test it first.

LF lenses are fairly easy to take apart, since they don't have complex helicals or floating elements or auto-aperture linkages, but if you don't want to do it, any vaguely competent repair technician local to you should be able to do this.

Ronar is a process lens isn't it? Does it have a filter slot? If so keep it closed. If you can't unscrew it you might be able to slide a cleaning cloth into the slot.
