Hi all,

I am in massive need of some help. I have recently calibrated and profiled my monitor for the first time using a spyder and im very happy with the end result. I have been going back through some of my photography prints and rescanning them so as to upload to my website. Now, I am having major issues with the images I save as jpeg from photoshop having a colour shift from what they looked like in photoshop (cs5 by the way). I have tried setting different profiles in the colour setting menu, changing profiles on the individual images and everything I can think of. Can anyone shed any light on this issue at all?

What color profile are you starting with?
Are you converting or assigning a different color profile when you edit or save?
Are you seeing the color shift on the same system you use for editing, or on other (uncalibrated?) systems?

The scan of the prints is in sRGB as designated by the scanner. Im opening in photoshop with a working space of sRGB but the display is my custom monitor profile. When I save the jpeg it is as sRGB also. Then when I preview the jpeg in windows image viewer there is a colour shift compared to what I have open in photoshop. All on the same system.

but the display is my custom monitor profile.

Are you referring to the Photoshop proofing setup? If you turn off Photoshop Proof Colors does Windows Image Viewer then match the Photoshop colors?
