I was just wondering, with d****** taking over so much of photography, (or should I say taking over real photography) what can real cameras be used for? Ofcourse fine art photography, but then I wondered if any one has done a coffee table book of photos on here. (For those Seinfeld fans, it wouldn't have to become a coffe table like Kramers). If so, what did you make it about, and was it just local scences or something like the great waterfalls of the world? I always thought I would like to do such a book some day, but don't know yet what I would do it on. Even if you haven't, do you have any desire to do this too? What would you like to make it about? I suppose the best subject would be something based on people of a certain area, or a certain business such as making steel from the mining to the pouring to eventually a car or such. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks. Ric.
P.S. I put this in the MF thread because either a MF or LF camera would work the best for something like this I think.

hi ric

i've made more than 20 (coffee table) books ..
most were by hand ( i do bookbinding )
as for the subjects ... everything from industrial architecture to abstracts to portraits ...
( i made my first one when i was 17 )

it doesn't need to be anything out of this world ...
just things that mean something ( to you ) or someone else.
