I can either get a brand new Calumet C2N 6x12 holder or a mint horseman 6x12 holder.

No Sinar RFB reared it's head. I know the Horseman requires one to remove the back, and the C2N does not. I know the Horseman has a better reputation than the older version of the C2N but I have found no comparison between the two.

I would like to hear what others think as I have no opportunity to put my hands on either of these. I don't expect a direct comparison, as why would someone have both?

I haved used both and ultimately kept the Horseman. I had some problems with film flatness and transport issues with the calument. When it worked it worked great, the problem is I had several rolls get jammed in it, as well as film sag. Lost a few shots that way.

Never had either of those issues with the Horseman, the only disadvantage to the Horseman is you have to remove the back to use it, but to me thats minor.

Hope it helps.
