Completely True.
It occured to me that taking a young digital know it all teanager out with it and showing them the benefit of 12 shots, not 120 shots would respark the mojo in me.

another really sharp portrait lens worth mentioning is the 180mmf/4.It gives you a bit more distance to your subject too, which I preferand uses the same filter size;bravoCarl Zeiss!

Regrets are depressing. We all have our own to overcome. Some decisions are easy while others are far more difficult. The difficult ones require more time to ponder. Take your time. There's no need to hurry about a decision like this unless you're hurting financially. Do you desperately need the money right now? If not then take more time to decide. You evidently aren't yet ready.

Couple questions...

1) Do you ever get seller's remorse? If yes, then put the camera back in the bag, and use it when you need something more versatile than the Rolleiflex. If no, then, maybe consider selling it. AFTER you've decided that there are no situations where you would need it.

2) Are you sure that you're going to get what you want out of selling the gear? 500c/m bodies are pretty common, as are the 80, and the A12 backs. The 120 and the 50/4 will probably fetch more money, so, if you're not using those and want the cash, then, sell those. The basic kit, I think I'd keep. It's not that big nor heavy. Maybe use the Rollei for B&W and the Hasselblad for color. Or vice versa.

*edit* the reason why I'm asking you this, is that a few times, I've considered selling my late model Nikon F2AS body. Actually traded it off a couple times in 2012 for an F5 the first time around, and an F4s the second time around. Both times, I wound up buying it back. Instead, I eventually wound up sending it to Sover Wong in the UK for servicing. I'll never sell it now. Camera's nicer than it was when it was new, functionally. Just had him service the DP-12 finder that originally was attached to it. Will be a nice kit when it returns.

The good thing nowadays is that you can buy and sell and then buy again a hassy and lose very little (if any) money. I sold mine for £50 less than what I bought it and that's only because I took the first offer that came my way.

Sell the Hassie to someone else who wants to use it. unless it has any sentimental attachment like the Rollei.
Let someone else wanting to "try" medium format film see the beauty of MF film.
Having done the CLA, it is obviously meant to be used well!

No, I don't see the point of old unused and Serviced equipment being around except for sentimental gifts or "this was my 1st..." or one's building a museum/collection. (even then, tools need to be used!)

Don't sell. I have a Nikon F100 and often thought about selling it in order to acquire some digital gear. After I bought a Hasselblad 500, I re-discovered my interest in film am now happy the F100 is still with me.

Your habits may change and some day you'll be happy that the Hasselblad is still with you. Thought about selling mine, too, but I found out that I like to take it outside when I go without my kids. When I try to take photos of my kids, the Hassy is just too "slow" and I'm better of with some 35mm camera.

FWIW ....

When I added Mamiya 645 and Mamiya RB67 to my "arsenal", I felt comfortable rationalizing my Mamiya C330 to just one body, two lenses and two finders. The resulting TLR kit is really strong at what it does better than my other cameras.

Maybe something similar would work for you.
