Hello Everyone, this is my first post here. I'm currently shooting with a digital Canon 5D and would like to purchase a medium format camera to slowly move towards what I'd be expected to use if I "make-it" in this industry.

I don't know know much about MF but I was wondering if the Hasselblad 503CW would be a good choice to practice with and eventually use for professional jobs? or should I go for something that is more automated like the Mamiya AFD. is the 503cw still used by fashion photographers/magazines/agency tests or does everyone use the H1's/newer Mamiya autofocus/auto meter now with digital backs and all that?

With my digital files, i spend a lot of time trying to make them look like film shots in photoshop which is hard and time consuming. You can take a look at some of my digital work here:

Thanks for reading

The 503CW would be used by many fashion photographers and you certainly dont need an automated camera for fashion.
