Hi all!
i've recently purchased an old Distagon 40mm C T* for my Hasselblad and trying to give the lens elements a clean which have some dust and fungus on them.
I've managed to remove the first two lenses of the main lens assembly:

but now I'm stuck at the third one:

There are no indents on this one where i could use a spanner wrench like the two previous lenses.
The inner assembly (marked with blue below) does turn freely but won't come out.

Does anyone know how to remove it?

Thanks in advance!

Had the same problem with my old 50mm Hassy Distagon. Turned out there was/is a narrow groove machined in the metal surrounding the glass, so as to apply pressured air to push it out. In fact it came out with a bang, so be careful.

Hi,

I also need to clean my Distagon C 40mm f4 as there is some fungus in the inner group of lenses. Did you manage to get all the elements out and cleaned?
I would be very happy to hear how you managed because I can't find any info on the internet.

Best regards,
Steffen
