Does anyone know the compatibility of Hasselblad winding knobs/cranks across different series (503, 2000, 200)? It would appear that a 503cw knob won't fit on a 200 series; they seem to have a different winder.

The knobs that appear to mate with the 200 series seem to be $$$.

From what I have read in the Hasselblad Compendium - the original rapid winding crank for the 2000FCW was (44075)
This was recently designated as Winding Crank 2

The updated version: Winding Crank TCC (44083)
Designed for use with all 200 series cameras and also 503CXi and 503CW.
Recent designation Winding Crank E

Recent update for Winding Crank E (44086)
For 2000 series cameras and 503CW

For my 2000FCW I took off the Power Winder (44067) and replaced it
with the Winding Crank E (44086)

The (44086) crank was hard to find but I was persistent and it did cost some $$$
Shedding the power winder saved weight and made the camera easier to handle.
The power winder was interesting but made the camera somewhat awkward to hold.
I will keep it and may try it out again sometime in the future.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks so much!

On eBay I see 44040 seems to be a common one. It doesn't look like that's compatible with the 200 series (just has a small circular cutout in the middle). I think that's compatible with 500cm to 503 early models.

The E Crank seems to run $275-325 on eBay...these people know what they have

Hilariously the F winder is only $135 at KEH -- clearly it's universally despised. I may just pick up the F winder at KEH since I already have one E knob to share between my 201 and 203. The 201 came with an F winder with corroded contacts and it seems less effort to get that replacement than it does to get a knob lol.
