Can someone illuminate me to the usage of the Winder F? I now have two and neither seem to work. I did the following:
  1. Install batteries.
  2. Make sure the camera is cocked with the knob
  3. Made sure the red dot on the winder is lined up with the other red dot
  4. Installed the winder
  5. Fired the shutter
And nothing...should it just work? I cannot find the manual for this online sadly...

Ok I got one of mine working. Things to check:
  1. Fuse (multimeter works)
  2. Battery alignment, make sure the voltage is good on the battery insert terminals
  3. Also for one of my winders (ealier version?) it has metal contacts that clamp inwards; one of them is loose. Might return that one since I'm having trouble with it.
It should "just work" in that it seems to use mechanical control from the winder post rotating slightly to engage the motor.
