Seeking advice from all hasselblad technical experts.
I have a broken guide plate tab on the back of my type 4 A12 film back. Photo attached.
I'm looking for information regarding the type 4 A24 film back pressure plates. I know that 220 film had different film paper and so the pressure plate itself is slightly different, but is it just the gearing and other parts of the design that are slightly different or is the machining identical between the A24 pressure plate and the A12 pressure plate?
I'm hoping to swap just the pressure plate off of a for parts A24 film back (abundantly available and much cheaper) onto my A12 back.
If someone has both an A24 and A12 type 4 magazine and wants to do a little comparison for me that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm hoping to repair my nice A12 back that is in excellent condition aside from the PO not knowing what they were doing and breaking the tab.
In case images don't upload.
