Hello All

So big surprise for me today. I ordered a Hasselblad 50mm lens from KEH that was advertised as the standard CF version. Turns out I ended up getting the CF version with the floating lens element! Lucky me! I was not expecting that at all but I'm now looking forward to the challenge of remembering to set the floating lens element before every shot. lol.

Anyway, so here is my question. I very much want to get a quick focus level for the 50mm f/4 CF FLE as I find the focus throw rather long and a bit on the stiff side. Which quick lever will work? I'm seeing conflicting information all over the place and the prices vary wildly from $20 all the way to $200.

I also understand that I will need to remove the rubber focus ring on the lens before installing one. Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial for this? I imagine it is pretty easy, but I don't like the idea of messing with the lens unless I'm sure I know what I'm doing.

I have a 50mm FLE without a quick focus lever and a n 80mm with one. Since you are going to change the lens element setting it really doesn't make much difference having the lever as it might actually get in the way. The Hasselblad lever can be folded down when not in use and while they say it is for the 40, 50 and 60mm Distagon CF's and 80mm Planar it may not be indicated for the FLE. I would check with Hasselblad before investing /messing with.
