Hasselblad plastic screens from China

I don't know which screen I currently have but it's brighter than the screen with the large cross hair. Has anyone bought one and is it much better than the standard screen on the 500 C/M?

I bought a few plastic screens from China for my Blads and they were OK;not as bright as the accurate originals but easier to focus due to the split-image feature. They are worth the money in my opinion.

I have later cameras with the Acute-Matte screens, stunningly bright, and stunningly expensive to buy screens separate. One is pure matte, the other has a split image center. I actually like the matte better, which is a first for me.

I use a 'plastic screen' with split image from a Chinese manufacter (39,- Euros) for my Rolleiflex 3.5F. It works like it should - it's worth the price.
The manufacter also does screens for the Hasselblad 500 series cameras for the same price.
I also use Oleson 'bright' screens - I can see no difference in terms of brightness.

I agree;to me the split green offers more help than the brightness.

Two bits of information, please, before I possibly buy one myself (for a Mamiya C220.)

Is the item mentioned by macfred and approved by RalphLambrecht the same as sold by seller jinfinance
I know the price is different from the mentioned 39€, but sometimes several Chinese sellers propose items from the same original source... Please have a look at the picture.
If answer to (1) is yes, down to what aperture have you been able to use the split prism without blackout? I have, besides the 80/2.8, the 55 and 135, both f/4.5

No 'blackout' with the Rollei TLR ;-)
The offer says item location is Belgium but the screen comes definitely from China.
I'm not quite sure that there will be any difference to the jinfinance screen.

I bought one of these this past fall- definitely a bit brighter than the stock screen yet just a hair darker compared to whatever screen came with a 500C I bought (no-name with dark cross hairs I have yet to properly identify. Beattie maybe?). Installation was a little tricky too since it doesn’t come with a frame, so I ultimately ended up using the no-name screen.

If someone wants to cover the cost of shipping I can dig it up I can send it to an apug/photrio user who is interested in trying it out.

I'm not buying any Ukrainian stuff. But I bet that if these cameras and lenses are "tuned up" they would make great images. I remember Shutterbug magazine review of this stuff. One body jammed on cranking, the author, whacked the body on a wooden cabinet and it worked fine after that .
