set up my projector to look at a few recent slides and bamm! blown fuse. ugh! replaced the fuse and bamm again, and again and again. Took it to my local hasselblad repair guy. he laughed and said its the second one in twenty years that he has seen. anyway....

he cant find the problem and when he called hasselblad of course they have no parts. so now what? pay a ton of money for a non working one to use it for parts that might fix it, or turn it into a huge doorstop? of course I would then need to sell all of my 120 slide film as it kinda defeats the purpose of shooting slide film if i cant project it. kind of a waste as when it worked it was awesome.

life is just full of needless decisions. any thoughts?

Is it one of the international versions that has a selectable input voltage? Maybe that got knocked off.

KX Camera out in California does repair these, it might be worth checking with them.

The most common failure in electronic equipment of that age is bad electrolytic capacitors.
They have to be replaced with modern parts. Not difficult or expensive.

They can be identified by sight. You don't need a schematic or instruction manual.
But you do need a good electronic technician who's familiar with vintage equipment.

I'm quite able to do such a repair. You can send it to me.
Possible problem... I won't return it. I've been looking for one.
