I'm not sure if this is in the right thread or not... But here goes.

I just purchased a 500 C/M Hasselblad, and I absolutely love it. I'm all in for Team Hasselblad.

Though I know it isn't the exact same camera, I relish in telling everyone that a very similar camera was taken to the moon - this is how cool the Hasselblad V series cameras are!

Anyways, my question is this: is there somewhere were I can either a) purchase a poster, or b) find a high enough resolution image to print myself, of this image?

I love that it shows the Hasselblad, and I want this on my wall. I know it's not as popular of an image as the other moon images, but I absolutely love it...

Thanks for any help!

By the way, in the full uncropped photo, you can even see the earth in the background.

You can have the cameras for free. All you gotta do is go pick em up. They're on the moon. (Maybe ask the Chinese to bring one back for you).

Get the scanned image file from NASA and have it printed at whatever size you'd like. As a US Gov't image, there are no copyright issues with printing it.

It is not to far fetched to imagine a motivated wealthy foundation or entrepreneur go after these some day with robotic retrieval. As you my may or may not know, spent Saturn V F-1 booster engines have already been retrieved for sport with remote operated vehicles. Scoop a load of moon rocks along with the cameras and you can fund the expedition... http://www.bezosexpeditions.com/updates.html

I think NASA should be fined for littering. It might be high class littering, but it still littering.

Do you have independent proof that this littering took place?

It's common knowledge, Google it. But watching the Horizon documentary will be far more enlightening.

The LEM's landing gear was reused as a launch pad on take off, and left behind.
