Hasselblad light leak

I have a problem. Hasselblad 503CW. Is that a light leak or a result of my developing?

Most likely a light leak, same place almost every time.

Given the position, it's almost certainly the darkslide light seal. They are easy to replace and available from Hasselblad for reasonable cost, or ebay or some people roll their own.

I had to replace the seals on three backs -- a A24 and an A16 off e-bay and the original A12 new in 2002 -- I read up on it in the Hasselblad Historical site -- then I went to a fellow member of my Camera Club who has a workshop and he ehlped me to undo all the screws ! They were very tight! Then he gave me some foam. I cut some foam to the same size with a razor blade -- one back had the fold-over plastic bit all disintegrated so I could not use it again but I cut some 120 film to size and folded that over then pushed in the foam and it all worked, once I had got all the pesky screws back again !

You're extremely lucky that worked. 120 film is not opaque...

Looks like a light leak to me. There is a guy on ebay that sells a kit with the foil and foam. Takes about 15 minutes the first time and maybe 5 the second. Easy.

It is definitely the light seal. Replace it.
