I'm trying to resurrect a 1000F. It has two lenses, one of which is a Zeiss-Opton Tessar 80mm 2.8 lens. The lens appears to be in very good shape except (there's always an except, right) the inside of the rear element seems slightly hazy. Nothing that I believe a good cleaning wouldn't take care of.

I notice the rear element 'seems' to screw in and has two square notches across from each other on the rim of the lens. If I can find a suitable spanner, is it just a matter of unscrewing this to access the internal surface of the rear element? Obviously I know little about this, or any Hasselblad.

Thanks in advance.

I would mark with a pencil precisely where the spanner notches fit, and also where the rear elements sit before removing anything. The lens elements are precisely aligned at the factory using optical benches and sophisticated measuring equipment. It is critical to get everything back in the right place with proper spacing and alignment. There's more to it than popping the elements out and in.
