Hasselblad Lens Decocking Problem.

I just got a new to me hasselblad cf 150 f4. The problem I am having is every time I take the lens off the camera and put it back in my bag it will fire, then when I put the lens back onto the camera I have to rewind the shutter on the lens. I have never actually seen the lens fire when off the camera and I also can't shake the lens to make it fire.

I have two other cf lens and I have never had one of them fire when the lens was off the camera.

I just bought this lens off keh.

Any idea on why the 150 is doing this?

Well I've finally been able to get the lens to fire when it's off the camera by just moving the shutter speed ring, and a little shaking.

I could not get either of my other two lens to fire doing the same thing.

I would contact KEH and have them repair or replace the lens ... why bother with it?

Something is a-mis, I know/use the Hasselblad equip for some 20 years. BTW I am in Lafayette Indiana.

I've had good luck with KEH taking returns no-questions-asked on their shipping dime. I second the why-bother.

It will be the latch on the rear bayonet. A loose screw or weak spring.

moving the shutterspeed ring shouldn't cause it to fire, nor should shaking. Hitting the little pin next to the winding lug will fire it, but that requires (or should) require deliberate manipulation.

I'm thinking it was the loose spring. I can nock it around and watch the latch release the catch on the shaft.
